The Senior Manager, Social leads the development and implementation of organic social media strategies for Simple Mills, converting brand objectives into platform-specific content plans, overseeing execution with agencies, and driving performance optimization to enhance cultural relevance and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and refine organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, including secondary platforms.
- Translate marketing plans into channel-specific strategies, content calendars, and metrics.
- Develop TikTok Shop strategy with external partners aligned to business goals.
- Test new formats and tools with data-backed recommendations.
- Collaborate with Brand and Integrated Marketing on launches, retail, influencers, and initiatives.
- Lead content creation with agency, ensuring strategic, platform-optimized output and monthly asset production.
- Guide creative direction for formats, series, and storytelling on health, wellness, and sustainability.
- Maintain authentic brand voice and leverage cultural moments for engagement.
- Define and monitor KPIs like engagement, reach, and video views; lead performance reviews and optimizations.
- Partner with paid media and influencers to amplify content.
- Oversee community interactions with agency, including social listening for sentiment and opportunities.
- Manage agency relationships, providing direction, feedback, and performance monitoring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 6–9 years in social media strategy and execution, preferably in CPG or agency.
- Proven success in strategies for Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms driving engagement and performance.
- Expertise in social KPIs and data analysis to inform content improvements.
- Experience managing agency and partner relationships with clear direction and feedback.
- Skill in simplifying complex topics like health, wellness, and sustainability into compelling social content.
- Background in wellness or functional health, navigating brand voice, science, and regulations.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Brand, PR, Influencer, and Partnerships teams.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced settings with strong judgment.
- Knowledge of paid social integration with organic efforts.
