Social Media Manager (Beauty Industry) | Remote | LATAM at HireHawk, Remote in Mexico

Manage and execute day-to-day social media for a beauty brand, owning content planning, creation, publishing, and performance tracking to grow reach, engagement, and brand trust across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts while aligning with marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a social content engine that increases reach, engagement, and brand trust on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Develop and manage a realistic content calendar tied to launches, promotions, and ongoing storytelling
• Write captions, hooks, and community prompts that match brand voice and encourage action
• Publish, schedule, and optimize content using performance data for format, timing, hashtags, SEO, and trends
• Lead community management by responding promptly, escalating issues, and converting comments or DMs into insights
• Collaborate with creators and UGC contributors to source, brief, and repurpose content while tracking usage rights
• Deliver weekly performance reports on growth, engagement, CTR, saves, and watch time, then translate findings into recommendations
• Coordinate with designers, editors, and marketing leads to deliver content on schedule without quality loss
• Monitor platform updates and beauty trends, test new approaches, and share learnings

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on social media management for a consumer brand, preferably in beauty, skincare, haircare, wellness, or lifestyle
• Proven ability to produce platform-native content that performs and articulate the reasons for success
• Strong writing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and brand consistency
• Experience with social scheduling and analytics tools; Sprout, Later, or Hootsuite a plus
• Track record of building and maintaining content calendars while meeting publishing deadlines in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and reliability in fully remote settings
• Ownership mindset with proactive issue-spotting and follow-through
