Own day-to-day social media execution and support content strategy for a beauty brand, balancing creative execution with performance tracking and reporting in a remote, outcomes-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a social content engine that drives reach, engagement, and brand trust on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Develop and maintain a realistic content calendar aligned with launches, promotions, and evergreen storytelling
- Write high-performing captions, hooks, and community prompts that match brand voice and prompt action
- Publish, schedule, and optimize posts using data insights on format, timing, hashtags/SEO, and trends
- Lead community management by responding thoughtfully, escalating issues, and converting comments/DMs into insights
- Collaborate with creators and UGC contributors to source, brief, and repurpose content while tracking usage rights
- Track weekly performance metrics (growth, engagement, CTR, saves, watch time) and translate results into actionable recommendations
- Coordinate with designers, editors, and marketing leads to deliver content on time and to quality standards
- Stay current on platform updates and beauty trends, testing and reporting findings quickly
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on social media management for a consumer brand (beauty, skincare, haircare, wellness, or lifestyle preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to create and explain platform-native, high-performing content
- Strong writing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and brand consistency
- Comfort with social scheduling and analytics tools; Sprout, Later, or Hootsuite experience a plus
- Experience building content calendars and consistently meeting publishing deadlines in remote settings
- Excellent communication skills and reliability in fully remote work
- Strong ownership mindset with proactive gap-spotting and follow-through
