Hiring a Social Media Specialist to build and grow multi-platform presence for a plumbing company with 13 locations, focusing on consumer-driven strategy, content creation, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute content calendars across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, Nextdoor, and Facebook Groups aligned with marketing goals and seasonal demand
• Create posts, stories, reels, and short-form video content that resonates with homeowners and drives real engagement
• Write human-sounding captions and repurpose content across platforms to maximize reach
• Manage 15 location-specific Facebook and Instagram accounts while building presence on TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Nextdoor, and Facebook Groups
• Edit short-form video and coordinate with field teams on before/after footage, testimonials, and day-in-the-life content
• Design graphics, visuals, and assets for posts and promotions
• Respond to comments, DMs, and reviews promptly; monitor brand mentions and convert interactions into shareable content
• Track performance metrics and deliver weekly and monthly reports, using insights to guide content decisions

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing business social media accounts with demonstrated KPIs
• Strong understanding of consumer psychology and scroll-stopping content
• Experience managing multiple brand or location accounts simultaneously
• Proficiency in Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Strong copywriting skills focused on engagement
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Later
• Basic video editing skills with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar
• Good eye for visual content and basic design sense
