Remote bilingual assistant video editor supporting social-first content creation for entertainment and brand clients by preparing files, editing short social clips and handling asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming assets and oversee workflow from intake through final delivery
- Edit and reformat low-lift social media videos, including stitching clips, adding subtitles, and resizing for Instagram, Stories, Facebook, YouTube and similar platforms
- Create thumbnails, GIFs and looped videos optimized for each platform
- Sync client-provided audio and insert subtitles to enhance engagement
- Prepare and export files for both internal editors and external client delivery
- Communicate edits and changes with creatives and clients to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Advanced English (C1 or higher)
- 3+ years of hands-on video editing experience
- Proficient with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, Final Cut and other relevant tools on Mac OS
- Experience in output and delivery workflows
- Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with knowledge of social platform specs and editing best practices
- Available Monday-Friday 9 am–6 pm PST with flexibility for extended hours
