Social Media Manager + Content Creator responsible for producing educational, high-performing video and written content that drives engagement, shares, and measurable pipeline impact for a leading photo booth hardware and software company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, edit, and publish short- and long-form video content optimized for viral performance on Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
  • Plan, schedule, and manage publishing across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Threads while monitoring comments and engagement
  • Create educational carousels, trending-sound roundups, and operator spotlights that frame product features as practical solutions for booth operators
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar, repurpose community-generated content, and ensure every post is produced to schedule without gaps
  • Track performance metrics including saves, shares, DM triggers, reach, and UTM-driven pipeline influence to inform content decisions
  • Appear on-camera and support occasional in-person shoots and events in Southern California

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of paid social media management experience
  • Strong conversational writing skills with a clear, personality-driven voice
  • Proven video editing portfolio demonstrating ability to edit for engagement and virality; link or attachment required
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or comparable tools with the ability to turn around trending Reels quickly
  • Real-time awareness of trending audio and the ability to leverage sounds before they peak
  • Track record of managing social accounts to drive genuine engagement rather than just impressions
  • Experience working with comment automation tools such as ManyChat
  • Comfortable appearing on-camera and self-managing a content calendar with minimal oversight
  • Based in Southern California and available for occasional in-person shoots within ~50 miles of 91745
  • Willingness to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and workflow
