Executive-level position responsible for owning and executing Climate Action’s digital voice across social media, newsletters, event websites and digital platforms to amplify global climate initiatives and engage senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, newsletters, event websites, email platforms, ClimateAction.org and additional channels
- Craft compelling social posts, newsletters, speaker announcements, promotional materials and event marketing copy
- Maintain brand messaging, tone and visual identity across all touchpoints
- Design branded graphics, banners and assets using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
- Develop and run social media and email campaigns promoting events, speakers, partners and initiatives
- Produce written, visual and short-form video content including reels, interviews and event highlights
- Provide live-event coverage through real-time social updates, photography and content capture
- Coordinate marketing schedules to align timely promotion of events and campaigns
- Support audience growth, registrations, sponsorship leads and subscriptions via targeted digital strategies
- Monitor climate, sustainability and policy trends to align content with global conversations
- Track performance metrics, prepare analytics reports and recommend optimisation actions
- Maintain and upload website content and assets to ensure consistent digital experiences
- Research audience behaviour, competitor activity and emerging trends for new engagement opportunities
- Support partnership, influencer and media collaboration initiatives
Qualifications
- Experience in social media execution, content creation, communications or digital marketing
- Strong copywriting, storytelling and attention to detail with ability to adapt tone across platforms
- Ability to produce engaging multimedia content including graphics and social assets (short-form video bonus)
- Familiarity with social analytics, reporting tools and campaign performance tracking
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills for multiple concurrent projects
- Interest in sustainability, climate action or environmental topics highly desirable
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, WordPress, HubSpot, Hootsuite or similar tools advantageous
- Experience in B2B events, conferences or media environments a plus
- Creative, collaborative and proactive mindset
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team and stakeholder engagement
- Comfortable in fast-paced events and campaign settings
