Senior leadership role directing the establishment and growth of a new creative commerce business unit in a top UK performance and social media agency, focusing on strategic oversight, team development, and integration of commerce-driven creative strategies across platforms like Meta and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ECD Business Unit 2 with full accountability for KPIs, creative deliverables, client satisfaction, and performance results
  • Manage and develop creative strategists through one-on-one sessions, performance evaluations, and fostering a high-performance environment
  • Define strategic roadmap and service evolution for the unit, including new capabilities and scaling initiatives
  • Drive commercial expansion of the creative division in collaboration with executive leadership
  • Champion operational enhancements, product innovations, and feedback integration to improve department efficiency
  • Ensure delivery of high-impact creative strategies for Meta and TikTok clients, maintaining retention and growth
  • Provide senior oversight on key client accounts, mitigating risks and contributing to strategic discussions
  • Apply expertise in TikTok Shop operations to bridge social commerce with performance creative functions
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices from TikTok Shop into broader creative strategies
  • Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the unit and across the department
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production pipelines and client delivery

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in leading creative strategy, paid social, or performance creative teams in agencies or D2C settings
  • Experience managing and scaling teams of 10+ across sub-teams, including hiring and structure design
  • Deep knowledge of conversion-focused creative across Meta and TikTok platforms
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pitches, client growth, and data interpretation like ROAS, CPA, and CTR
  • Proficiency in various creative formats such as UGC, high-production video, static design, and social commerce
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills for client and internal interactions
  • Understanding of D2C eCommerce, consumer behavior, and platform developments
  • Ownership-driven mindset, outcome-focused, with high standards for self and team performance
  • Curiosity and proactive approach to creativity, technology, and commerce intersections
