Key Responsibilities
- Dedicate 2.5 hours weekly to promotion activities and remote collaboration with the Soluna team via Slack.
- Promote the Soluna app via online, community, and campus initiatives, including social media, word-of-mouth, and events.
- Represent Soluna at campus or community events to highlight its benefits.
- Develop and distribute content such as posts, stories, and videos appealing to teens and young adults.
- Partner with student organizations, clubs, mental health groups, and school leaders to increase app downloads.
- Engage in media opportunities like interviews or panels to advocate for youth mental health and Soluna’s impact on state systems.
- Provide feedback and insights to refine the app.
- Submit regular reports on ambassador activities.
Qualifications
- High school graduation or GED equivalent.
- Residency in California or New Jersey.
- Commitment to 12 hours per month, plus approved events, without conflicting with class schedules.
- Willingness to attend in-person local events.
- Ability to produce and share social media content on personal accounts.
- Access to reliable internet.
- Strong communication skills for engaging peers and social platforms.
- Proficiency in creating content on Instagram and TikTok to build brand awareness.
- Interest or experience in event organization, representation, and promotion, virtual or in-person.
- Passion for mental health advocacy, access to support, and stigma reduction.
- Networking abilities to build partnerships with student groups, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Creativity in crafting engaging, innovative outreach for teen and young adult audiences.
- Self-motivation and initiative for independent brand promotion.
- Current college student with in-person attendance preferred; community connections a plus.
