Lead and scale a globally distributed web development team as Web Development Manager, driving technical strategy, execution excellence, and cross-functional collaboration for a fast-growing vertical SaaS company focused on elective medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute web development roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Build and maintain Webflow and WordPress sites with pixel-perfect precision
- Execute complex website migrations, domain transfers, and content restructuring
- Develop and deploy automations using Zapier, Make, custom scripts, and APIs
- Ensure site performance, SEO optimization, accessibility, and quality standards
- Mentor, delegate to, and conduct code reviews for junior developers
- Manage remote teams across time zones via 1:1s, meetings, and feedback sessions
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones for multiple concurrent projects
- Coordinate with design, marketing, and product teams throughout project lifecycles
- Troubleshoot technical issues and enforce QA processes before deployment
Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Webflow and WordPress development and administration
- 8+ years of web development experience with 4+ years in a management role
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, UX/UI best practices, and SEO fundamentals
- Proven experience with complex website migrations and web performance optimization
- Ability to build automations and API integrations
- Demonstrated success leading and mentoring developers in remote, globally-dispersed teams
- Strong project management and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- At least 5 years of experience with Figma, Webflow, and WordPress with portfolio
- Comfort in fast-paced startup and agency environments managing 20+ websites
- Native-level English fluency and willingness to submit a video introduction
- Local to Chicagoland area or willing to travel for in-person workshops
