SEO Digital Marketing Intern at Exoticca, Barcelona, Spain

This internship supports day-to-day execution of SEO strategy by assisting with keyword research, content optimization, technical site audits, backlink monitoring, and competitive analysis to improve organic visibility and deliver value to travelers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support keyword research and prepare SEO content briefs
• Assist monitoring backlinks, identifying toxic links, and performing cleanup
• Monitor competitor content and surface growth opportunities
• Collaborate with the content team to optimize existing pages and aid new content creation
• Help conduct site audits focusing on structure, internal linking, and metadata
• Track SEO trends and share insights with the team

Qualifications

• Current student in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
• Strong interest in SEO, digital content and online marketing
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console
• High attention to detail, curiosity and analytical thinking
• Excellent written English communication skills (Spanish is a plus)
