The Associate Commercialization Manager will oversee the progression of innovative snack projects from concept to market, fostering collaboration across departments like R&D, quality assurance, and operations to deliver products that align with the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute projects enhancing company growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
  • Lead the commercialization of new product launches
  • Manage the Stage Gate process, including defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines
  • Coordinate artwork reviews and packaging transitions to vendors, liaising with customer design agencies, contacts, internal teams, and brokers
  • Ensure accuracy in new product setups and maintenance to meet all specifications
  • Complete production details in customer portals such as GORP, PROSPEC, and Gateway
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Sales) and external partners (suppliers, co-manufacturers, vendors) for on-time launches
  • Guide cross-functional teams toward business goals and objectives
  • Maintain and share detailed project trackers, promoting adherence to timelines
  • Deliver status updates, highlight issues to leadership
  • Facilitate weekly cross-functional meetings to track progress and address risks
  • Develop expertise in industry, products, packaging, production, and commercialization processes
  • Travel up to 20% for off-sites, production runs, and trials

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years in CPG project management or related roles
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, with Stage Gate process knowledge preferred
  • Familiarity with new product commercialization and startup protocols
  • Background in managing private label products and customer interactions
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, project management proficiency, analytical abilities, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives in team settings, building relationships and leading initiatives
