Lead Packback’s marketing efforts as Senior Director, overseeing narrative, content, product marketing, demand generation, and operations for an EdTech SaaS company focused on AI-driven education tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategy and pipeline performance across the funnel
- Direct demand generation initiatives and ensure alignment with sales and revenue operations
- Define product positioning, messaging, and differentiation, emphasizing AI applications in higher education
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to launch features and emphasize customer outcomes
- Build and expand content production across various formats including eBooks, webinars, research, blogs, and events
- Establish thought leadership in Instructional AI to boost awareness and conversions
- Create customer marketing materials such as stories, testimonials, and case studies using insights from customer success
- Manage and mentor two direct reports in demand generation and marketing operations
- Contribute hands-on to messaging, campaigns, and product launches as required
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, including product marketing and content strategy
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools like Salesforce and HubSpot
- Demonstrated success in defining positioning and launching products
- Experience building or refining brand positioning in emerging or competitive markets
- Skill in using customer insights to shape messaging, positioning, and content
- Proven track record in hiring, developing, and leading high-performing marketing teams
- Background in demand generation and pipeline management
- Preference for experience in EdTech, higher education, or mission-driven SaaS
- Strong product marketing intuition to simplify complex ideas into clear value propositions
- Expertise in creating and scaling content and thought leadership initiatives
- Analytical skills to link marketing efforts to revenue outcomes
- Effective collaboration across product, sales, revenue operations, and customer success functions
- Leadership in managing small teams with strategic oversight and hands-on involvement
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
