The Marketing Communications Manager at Spirair, an innovative medical device startup, will collaborate with the VP of Marketing to create and implement strategies focused on customers and patients, overseeing all aspects of marketing communications to drive commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leaders to create and refine strategies and messaging, proactively contributing ideas.
- Maintain brand consistency and messaging across all materials.
- Develop, edit, and produce sales and marketing tools such as brochures, presentations, digital content, videos, and animations.
- Oversee vendor relationships with design agencies, translating needs into effective tools and ensuring efficient communication.
- Coordinate sales training, customer events, and conferences, handling logistics like venues and on-site support.
- Process and distribute leads from events promptly to the sales team.
- Update and manage the corporate website, including content creation, reviews, and agency collaboration.
- Handle LinkedIn and other social media channels, including content creation, approvals, calendar management, and posting.
- Support sales team marketing requirements.
- Engage with physicians and patients on marketing initiatives and events.
- Perform additional assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of marketing experience, ideally in communications or similar areas.
- Background in startups, medical devices, or biotech is advantageous.
- Experience with physician customers preferred.
- Strong communication and copywriting abilities.
- Proficiency in creating marketing materials and sales tools.
- Skill in managing conferences and events.
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva beneficial.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite advantageous.
- Availability for travel up to 20%.
