The Internal Communications Manager will create and implement strategies to boost employee engagement and understanding across a global workforce, producing clear narratives that align with company strategy, culture, and objectives while serving as a key storyteller for leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement an internal communications plan that supports business goals and fosters engagement among international teams
- Convert intricate business information into straightforward, relatable content for varied groups
- Act as lead writer and editor for internal updates, newsletters, executive messages, announcements, initiatives, intranet materials, scripts, and discussion guides
- Oversee the cadence of internal updates, including company-wide meetings, all-hands sessions, and executive briefings
- Enhance and maintain internal channels like collaboration tools, intranet, email, and social platforms to deliver timely and captivating content
- Produce, refine, and review premium content maintaining a uniform style, voice, and storyline
- Draft content on behalf of executives, focusing on transparency, genuineness, and consistency with company narratives
- Design engaging narrative initiatives that highlight staff achievements, successes, and core values
- Prepare resource kits, question responses, and core messages for company projects and transitions
- Collaborate with HR, executives, and other departments to promote programs on culture, wellness, sustainability, awards, and development
- Organize and execute internal events like recognition drives, cultural celebrations, and awareness activities
- Promote involvement in internal social networks to build an active and welcoming community
- Guide executives on communication techniques and methods
- Develop preparation materials, scripts, and storytelling structures for executive presentations and disclosures
- Aid leaders in creating content that builds openness, accountability, and confidence

Qualifications
- Outstanding writing and editing capabilities to simplify complex details into approachable, compelling prose
- Demonstrated background in internal or corporate communications, editing positions, or comparable roles
- Solid decision-making skills to guide and counsel executives on optimal communication strategies
- Proficiency in handling internal channels and online tools
- Capacity to form reliable partnerships with various departments including HR, marketing, and executives
- Expertise in juggling several tasks and timelines in a dynamic setting
- Prior work in multinational or structured organizations
- Journalism, content planning, or narrative development experience
- Involvement in managing communications during organizational changes or reforms
