This role involves overseeing analyst relations with key industry firms and spearheading customer marketing initiatives to promote products and foster advocacy among clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end analyst relations including strategy, briefings, evaluations, and ongoing engagements with firms like Gartner, Forrester, and IDC
- Coordinate submissions and strategies for major analyst reports such as Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave
- Cultivate relationships with analysts by tailoring engagements to their interests
- Prepare briefings and narratives in collaboration with product, marketing, and leadership teams
- Track analyst insights and provide market intelligence to internal teams
- Develop lifecycle campaigns to increase awareness and adoption of products among existing customers
- Create diverse customer stories including case studies, videos, and co-branded materials
- Oversee customer reference and advocacy programs to engage advocates effectively
- Identify upsell opportunities and collaborate on marketing programs for customer expansion
Qualifications
- 3+ years in analyst relations with experience in briefings and full evaluation cycles like Magic Quadrant or Forrester Wave
- Proven skills in building and sustaining analyst relationships
- Direct experience managing briefings and Q&A sessions
- Knowledge of processes at Gartner, Forrester, and IDC
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and executives
- Preferred: Background in customer marketing, advocacy, or reference management
- Preferred: Content creation experience for case studies and communications
- Preferred: Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and metrics such as NPS and CSAT
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for complex technical products, including AI/ML
- Strong project management, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving
