The Veterinary Clinic Outreach Specialist promotes Lap of Love’s in-home end-of-life pet care services by building relationships with veterinary professionals through travel, education, events, and digital channels, based remotely in the Austin, TX area with significant nationwide travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to veterinary conferences and clinics across the US, up to 75% of the time
- Educate veterinary practices and staff on the advantages of recommending Lap of Love’s in-home end-of-life care services
- Visit at least two Lap of Love markets monthly to deliver educational materials supporting practices and pet owners
- Offer innovative ideas, trends, and tips to enhance in-person and remote relationships
- Participate in national conferences and events to promote the organization via booths, speaking, and special activities
- Track and report outcomes from visits, events, and meetings to evaluate campaign effectiveness
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sales or outreach experience, ideally in veterinary field
- Reside within 45 minutes of a major airport
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, adaptable to audience
- Robust interpersonal skills for establishing and nurturing veterinary industry connections
- Effective prioritization, time management, organization, and independent work capacity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, G Suite, CRM systems, and quick adaptation to proprietary software
- Confident, self-motivated initiator with collaborative drive and commitment to impactful work
