The Ride Platform seeks a strategic PR & Communications Manager to lead corporate and B2B public relations efforts for its product and technology brands, driving media coverage, executive visibility, and consistent messaging across the operator economy, insurtech, and mobility sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to communications strategy for product and technology portfolio, shaping narratives around product tests, feature releases, and innovation milestones.
- Translate complex product innovation and technical advancements into compelling stories for media and industry audiences.
- Lead global communications planning to ensure consistent messaging across regional teams and markets.
- Manage external PR agency and vendors, ensuring high-quality execution and creativity.
- Secure earned media placements in tech, business, and trade outlets while building relationships with relevant journalists.
- Develop executive thought leadership content including bylines, op-eds, LinkedIn posts, conference talks, and briefing materials.
- Prepare executives for interviews, podcasts, and speaking engagements with supporting Q&A and briefing documents.
- Own award submissions and speaking opportunity pursuits to elevate company reputation.
- Monitor media coverage and industry landscape, reporting on performance and recommending next steps.
- Connect cross-brand stories so corporate initiatives reinforce the full portfolio.
- Support owned content initiatives such as LinkedIn and internal communications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of PR or corporate communications experience, in-house or agency-side.
- Proven record of securing earned media coverage, executive visibility, and high-profile speaking engagements.
- Experience independently using AI tools for research, monitoring, drafting, and insights with strong ethical judgment.
- Excellent writing skills, capable of shaping executive ideas into authentic bylines and narratives.
- Ability to manage agency partners and external vendors effectively.
- Comfort working across diverse audiences including press, executives, investors, partners, and operators.
- Owner mindset with strong collaboration skills and focus on clarity and delivery.
- Nice-to-have: experience in regulated, technical, or fast-moving industries such as insurtech, fintech, mobility, AV, or SaaS.
- Nice-to-have: experience building or scaling a corporate communications function.
