Plans and delivers strategic internal communications that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals, culture, and change initiatives. Works closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to maintain effective channels and strengthen organisational connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal communications strategies supporting business priorities, cultural initiatives, and organisational change.
- Advise leaders on communication best practices and shape messaging for key announcements.
- Maintain an internal communications calendar in partnership with the Marketing team.
- Track channel and campaign performance, prepare engagement reports, and recommend data-led improvements.
- Write, edit, and distribute content across intranet posts, documents, scripts, and HR updates.
- Manage the intranet and optimise platforms such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
- Produce multimedia content including videos, employee stories, and visuals.
- Support planning and delivery of town halls and employee engagement campaigns.
- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Marketing, Compliance, IT, Finance, and the Senior Leadership Team to coordinate messages and promote initiatives.
- Monitor employee feedback and adjust messaging and channels to improve engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Strong stakeholder management and confidence advising senior leaders.
- Experience managing multiple communication channels and formats.
- Excellent organisational and project-management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience supporting change management programmes is advantageous.
- Collaborative, proactive, solutions-oriented approach with attention to detail.
- Empathetic communicator who understands diverse audiences and values building culture and relationships.
