This summer internship supports the marketing team at The Clean Fight, a nonprofit accelerating climate solution adoption, by contributing to storytelling, outreach, and program initiatives in New York’s climate tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Support marketing, communications, and outreach for programs like International Landing Pad, Energy Storage: Deploy Now, and Deployment Grant Fund, including graphic design, asset creation, copywriting, planning, and targeted outreach
- Contribute to overall brand marketing initiatives
- Aid in website optimization and content development
- Assist with event planning and execution
- Conduct research and develop case studies and blog content
- Help create and edit video content for social media and web platforms
Qualifications
- Strong passion for clean energy, sustainability, and innovation
- Solutions-oriented approach with curiosity and independence in a dynamic, collaborative setting
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for crafting compelling narratives across channels
- Proficiency in graphic design tools, particularly Canva
- Familiarity with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
- Experience with video editing software
- Advanced research and investigative abilities
- Collaborative teamwork skills
- Effective time management for handling multiple projects
- Nice to have: Knowledge of CRM tools like HubSpot, outreach tools like Hunter.io, website optimization, database management, climate journalism, or climate organization experience
