QRY seeks an Associate Media Director to spearhead cross-channel media strategies and manage a team of strategists for 5-8 client accounts in a dynamic paid media agency focused on brand growth through data-driven tactics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead paid media and paid search strategies aligned with client business models and growth objectives like LTV expansion and CAC efficiency
  • Identify performance enhancements via platform features, best practices, and competitor analysis, while developing test plans for campaigns, audiences, and integrations
  • Oversee department initiatives such as onboarding improvements, naming conventions, and internal playbooks
  • Direct strategic planning and reporting for high-spend or complex accounts, including data-backed forecasting tied to budgets and goals
  • Detect churn risks early, create mitigation plans, and pursue expansions in platforms, tactics, or budgets
  • Manage two strategists through 1:1s, performance reviews, training, coaching on execution and strategy, and workload balancing to prevent burnout
  • Track department KPIs like retention, margins, forecasting accuracy, and team performance; lead efficiency projects like SOPs and automation; collaborate with Head of Media on workflows
  • Deliver pod performance by meeting KPIs, conducting rigorous testing with hypotheses and measurable impacts, fostering team growth, building client trust through communication, and ensuring operational accuracy

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on paid media management, preferably in an agency, across channels like Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, Programmatic, and CTV in ecommerce and lead gen (finance a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
  • Proven strategic thinking for identifying opportunities and creating plans to meet client goals
  • 2+ years of people management, leading by example to motivate teams and foster positive environments
  • Excellent communication for presenting to executives and explaining complex media to non-experts
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, spot trends, and decide using tools like Google Analytics or Shopify
  • Passion for digital marketing, advertising, and agencies in ecommerce scaling or lead generation
  • Commitment to continuous learning on advertising trends
  • Suitability for remote work with a professional video-conferencing setup
