Key Responsibilities

  • Perform keyword research, competitor evaluations, and trend assessments for various regions including Canada, Quebec, U.S., and Italy.
  • Apply SEO best practices to optimize the main website and shop microsites, covering metadata, internal links, structured content, and technical improvements.
  • Create and deploy on-page content plans customized for local audiences, incorporating French-language adjustments for Quebec.
  • Lead technical SEO efforts like site audits, enhancing crawlability, indexing, and site speed.
  • Oversee off-page SEO activities such as link building and securing backlinks.
  • Manage and refine local directory listings, like Google Business Profiles, to boost local search rankings.
  • Track SEO metrics, analyze results, and deliver reports with strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with teams on site updates, landing page improvements, and adherence to SEO standards.
  • Maintain SEO alignment across markets by tailoring approaches to regional preferences and languages.

  • Update the intranet homepage and Marketing SharePoint site.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
  • 4–6 years in marketing roles, including 2–3 years focused on SEO.
  • Demonstrated success in elevating organic search via technical, on-page, and off-page tactics.
  • Expertise with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • Skills in refining website content and architecture for search engines and user experience.
  • Background in local SEO and optimizing multi-site businesses.
  • Familiarity with AI applications.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication; professional and team-oriented.
