Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative direction from initial treatment to final delivery for formats including UGC, VSL, testimonials, product, lifestyle, and brand films
  • Direct actors, models, founders, and real customers to produce authentic, results-oriented content during shoots
  • Offer precise guidance to videographers on framing, movement, and capture techniques for each production
  • Collaborate with creative strategists to convert performance analytics and audience data into compelling visual strategies
  • Ensure thorough on-set documentation, footage management, and metadata preparation for seamless post-production transfer
  • Monitor creative performance metrics such as hook rate, CTR, and watch time, applying insights to refine upcoming projects
  • Keep informed on emerging Meta and TikTok trends, innovating with fresh formats and methods
  • Elevate overall creative standards and capabilities within the production team

Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years of experience directing commercial, branded, or performance content, with preference for agency or D2C backgrounds
  • Solid grasp of elements driving conversions in paid social content, including hooks, pacing, scene diversity, and calls-to-action
  • Established track record in directing diverse talent on location, such as actors, founders, and genuine customers
  • Competence in presenting and justifying creative choices to internal teams and clients
  • In-depth familiarity with Meta and TikTok advertising formats, styles, and optimal practices
  • Prior collaboration with producers on budget and timeline management for shoots
  • Superior leadership and communication abilities on set
  • Required submission of a showreel or portfolio showcasing commercial or branded projects
  • Preferred: Hands-on involvement in D2C or performance marketing
  • Preferred: Knowledge of performance tracking metrics like hook rate, CTR, and ROAS
  • Preferred: Background in post-production for social media content
  • Preferred: Proficiency in handling camera, lighting, and audio equipment as needed
