Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the complete user acquisition strategy by combining market and user data with business and product analytics.
- Convert strategic choices into detailed action plans, defining roles for channels and creating prioritized testing agendas.
- Create and implement frameworks for execution planning and performance tracking to ensure cohesive progress in strategy, operations, and insights.
- Identify key growth areas and determine optimal allocation of user acquisition resources.
- Spearhead initiatives to achieve exponential growth and reduce reliance on traditional demand-generation tactics.
- Eliminate obstacles in planning and analytics to enhance learning speed and resource utilization across user acquisition efforts.
Qualifications
- Over 7 years in performance marketing and user acquisition, including oversight of multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Advanced knowledge in Google Ads platforms (Search, PMAX, YouTube, App) and networks like Meta and TikTok, including bidding mechanisms and targeting signals.
- Strong proficiency in building and refining measurement systems.
- Proven ability to coordinate user acquisition with product and CRM functions to enhance long-term customer lifetime value beyond initial costs.
- Experience in consumer-to-consumer marketplaces or comparable sectors (preferred).
- Background in establishing teams from the ground up (preferred).
- Team leadership and management experience (preferred).
- Japanese language skills preferred; English required.
