Lead the creative vision and execution of high-production performance ad campaigns, directing talent and ensuring commercial effectiveness in a leading UK agency group focused on Meta and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct creative vision from treatment to delivery across various formats including UGC, VSL, testimonials, product, lifestyle, and brand films.
- Guide actors, models, founders, and authentic customers to produce compelling, results-oriented content on set.
- Collaborate with videographers on framing, movement, and capture techniques during shoots.
- Work with creative strategists to convert performance data and audience insights into visual strategies.
- Manage on-set documentation, footage organization, and metadata for seamless post-production transfer.
- Monitor creative performance metrics like hook rate, CTR, and watch time, applying insights to refine future projects.
- Keep abreast of evolving Meta and TikTok trends and innovate with new creative formats.
- Elevate the overall creative standards within the production team.
Qualifications
- 3-4+ years in directing commercial, branded, or performance content, preferably in agencies or D2C settings.
- Deep knowledge of elements that drive conversions in paid social content, such as hooks, pacing, scene diversity, and CTAs.
- Hands-on experience directing diverse talent including actors, founders, and real customers.
- Skill in presenting and justifying creative choices to stakeholders and clients.
- Solid understanding of Meta and TikTok ad formats, styles, and optimization practices.
- Proficiency in partnering with producers to control shoot budgets and schedules.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities on set.
- Portfolio or showreel of commercial or branded work required.
- Preferred: Background in D2C or performance advertising; familiarity with metrics like hook rate, CTR, ROAS; experience in social-first post-production; basic operation of camera, lighting, and audio gear.
