Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of creative leads, senior strategists, and strategists, establishing high standards for performance and accountability while coaching them into independent leaders through guidance on client issues, strategic decisions, and team oversight.
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative Strategy to define departmental direction, emphasizing operational efficiency and leadership development while owning talent strategies including performance reviews, career progression, resource allocation, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement to motivate and challenge the team.
- Establish and uphold quality benchmarks for creative deliverables across high-production video, UGC, and static assets, ensuring uniformity across all operational pods.
- Promote workflow enhancements by pinpointing and resolving inefficiencies in briefing, reporting, and production processes, while serving as a conduit for insights, risks, and opportunities to senior executives.
- Implement accountability measures via defined KPIs and regular performance discussions to maintain departmental sharpness.
- Guarantee that creative outputs deliver measurable client results on platforms like Meta while supporting profitability.
- Aid in departmental expansion by partnering with C-suite to refine services, uncover revenue streams, and influence overall business strategy.
- Contribute to the department’s evolution by focusing on long-term vision rather than day-to-day execution.
- Collaborate with account management, production, post-production, and media buying teams for integrated delivery and priority alignment.
- Participate in group-wide activities such as monthly momentum sessions, weekly recognitions, quarterly evaluations, and inter-pod knowledge exchanges, while emerging as a reliable leader across the organization.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in managing teams of at least 20 individuals, preferably in scaling departments within agencies or marketing services.
- Track record of cultivating senior staff into effective leaders, including coaching on management challenges, career pathways, and building self-sustaining leadership structures.
- Solid business insight with experience managing departmental budgets and proficiency in financial analysis tools.
- Background in agency or marketing services settings, adept at handling fast-paced environments, client interactions, and operational demands without losing agility.
- Strong communication abilities, capable of delivering motivating presentations, facilitating team sessions, providing constructive feedback, and producing clear written content.
- Innate ability to shape team culture and inspire others, encouraging growth and high performance.
- Familiarity with creative strategy, performance-driven creative, or paid social media is advantageous but not required.
- Knowledge of direct-to-consumer and e-commerce models, along with Meta and TikTok ad platforms, would be beneficial.
- Exposure to AI-enhanced creative processes or production advancements is a plus.
