Senior leadership role directing the establishment and expansion of the agency’s second External Creative Division business unit, emphasizing performance creative strategies, social commerce integration, and team development in a high-growth paid social environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full KPIs for Business Unit 2, including creative deliverables, client satisfaction, and performance results, while managing and mentoring creative strategists through one-on-one sessions, reviews, and culture-building initiatives.
- Develop strategic roadmaps and service enhancements for the unit, pinpointing evolution needs, new capabilities, and scaling opportunities to support departmental commercial expansion.
- Champion process optimizations and innovations, collecting team feedback to refine services, and act as a conduit for insights to leadership for operational improvements.
- Ensure high-impact creative strategies for Meta and TikTok clients, managing retention, satisfaction, and growth, while providing senior oversight on key accounts and participating in strategic client dialogues.
- Integrate TikTok Shop expertise, such as live commerce and affiliate programs, to infuse commerce-driven approaches into performance creative, and collaborate on creator strategies and cross-platform testing.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the unit and department, leading initiatives, motivating teams, and partnering with operations for capacity management and cross-functional delivery.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in directing creative strategy, paid social, or performance creative operations in agency or direct-to-consumer settings.
- Proficient in leading and scaling teams of 10+ across sub-teams, with expertise in team building, hiring, and high-performance leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of conversion-optimized creative on Meta and TikTok, spanning UGC, high-production video, static assets, and preferably social commerce.
- Commercial acumen, including pitch contributions, client expansion strategies, and data fluency in metrics like ROAS, CPA, CTR, and testing outcomes.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities for client interactions, team feedback, and collaborative environments.
- Familiarity with direct-to-consumer eCommerce, consumer behavior, and platform advancements, coupled with an ownership-driven, outcome-focused mindset energized by creative-commerce intersections.
