As Compliance and Risk Manager for the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, you will safeguard the organization’s adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines while managing risks and fostering a culture of integrity across operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, monitor legislative changes, and update programs
  • Advise internal teams on regulatory matters and support Chief Legal Officer on FIA and sporting frameworks
  • Oversee data protection compliance in US/UK/EU, including policies, training, DPIAs, ROPAs, and SARs
  • Develop and implement compliance programs on anti-bribery, AML, sanctions, antitrust, conflicts, modern slavery, and human rights
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, maintain risk register, oversee supplier/sponsor due diligence, and ensure contingency planning
  • Create and maintain compliance policies, manage gifts and hospitality register, and handle approvals
  • Deliver compliance training and awareness programs
  • Conduct internal monitoring and audits, liaise with external auditors
  • Investigate breaches and implement corrective actions
  • Produce compliance reports for Executive Committee and Board
  • Oversee visa compliance with relevant teams
  • Manage IR35 and contingent worker compliance, including consultant database

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in ethics and compliance programs in complex organizations, ideally in sports, covering data protection, anti-bribery, AML, sanctions, antitrust, conflicts, modern slavery, and human rights
  • Expertise in data privacy, information governance, and AI risk management
  • Proven ability to deliver compliance objectives on time and within budget in high-profile environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaborative working
  • Experience managing external legal counsel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for policies, reports, and training
  • Strong analytical skills to simplify complex regulations
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience leading compliance teams or projects
  • Familiarity with compliance systems and legal tech tools
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and regulatory awareness
