Skylight, a profitable tech startup developing user-friendly products to enhance family connections, seeks a Contract Senior Creative Operations Specialist to streamline creative processes and boost team efficiency under the Head of Creative.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance processes and systems for the Creative team to boost operational efficiency
• Collaborate with the Head of Creative and various stakeholders to outline project scopes, prioritize tasks strategically, and set precise deliverables and deadlines
• Design and roll out workflows that promote swift execution while ensuring accountability throughout projects and key milestones
• Oversee project progression within the Creative team, maintaining equitable resource allocation and timely asset completion
• Coordinate consensus in major creative evaluations involving internal teams and partners
• Aid in seasonal planning to secure adequate staffing and resources for peak periods
• Handle essential Creative Operations elements such as font licensing adherence, budgeting and scheduling for photography and video productions, and supplier discussions
• Support the Head of Creative in overseeing the department’s budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with over 7 years of experience primarily in fast-scaling startups or dynamic agencies
• Proficiency across multiple project management platforms
• Self-motivated with strong independence in operations
• Proven success in establishing and implementing flexible yet structured process systems
• Action-oriented mindset with skills in decisive prioritization and adjustment of tasks
• Exceptional organization, relationship-building, and verbal/written communication abilities
• Team-focused, meticulous, and unpretentious approach
• Preferred: Familiarity with ClickUp as the existing project management tool
• Preferred: Expertise in creating project management systems in various software from scratch
• Preferred: Background collaborating with Product or Growth functions beyond just Creative
• Preferred: Location in Minneapolis, Seattle, or Los Angeles
