Full-time role as a Fractional COO at SMB Team, supporting multiple law firm clients by delivering operational expertise, strategic advice, and growth facilitation to optimize processes and team performance in the legal sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with 5-17 hours monthly per law firm as the leadership’s key advisor, handling operational and strategic needs.
- Offer comprehensive business advice and strategic recommendations across all firm functions.
- Design and optimize operational processes for efficiency.
- Support the creation of performance reports and key performance indicators.
- Serve as an accountability partner, mentor, and knowledge resource for client teams.
- Promote services to prospective clients via sales efforts.
- Deliver presentations and support at workshops, events, and regular sessions as required.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years in leadership positions, managing at least 3 direct reports and 10+ total team members.
- At least 3 years in a law firm or consulting/coaching role with law firms on a fractional basis.
- Proven track record in building and overseeing operations for a firm with $5M+ annual revenue, including budget management.
- Advanced proficiency in Google and Microsoft tools.
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and self-motivation.
- Capability to provide strategic guidance on operations, technology, and finances.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Sales proficiency.
- Creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.
- Knowledge of CRMs, CMS, intake systems, and accounting software.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and quarterly workshops.
- Preferred: Experience as an EOS Integrator.
