The Chief Marketing Officer will spearhead the creation of a robust marketing framework for CEO Life, an exclusive executive leadership community, to fuel brand development, attract quality members, enhance retention, and support nationwide and global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the brand architecture, narrative, standards, voice, and messaging across all channels and markets while maintaining consistency with local chapter uniqueness.
- Develop and execute full-funnel strategies for member acquisition and growth using organic, digital, referral, content, and partnership channels tailored to CEOs and C-suite leaders.
- Design marketing elements for the member journey, including communication flows, content programs, and engagement initiatives to boost onboarding and long-term retention.
- Lead marketing for community events such as monthly dinners, quarterly roundtables, annual gatherings, and virtual series to ensure high attendance and brand reinforcement.
- Collaborate with expansion teams to create marketing assets, tools, and frameworks for chapter launches and local growth that align with national standards.
- Forge partnerships with aligned brands, thought leaders, and media to amplify reach and establish CEO Life as an authority in executive leadership.
- Oversee digital marketing including website, SEO/SEM, paid ads, social media, email, and CRM, integrating with technology for data-driven optimization.
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary marketing team focused on brand, digital, content, and community functions with systems for chapter support.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership, including at least 5 years in senior or executive roles.
- Proven success scaling brands in high-growth, community-driven, or membership-based sectors like executive networks, associations, luxury, or media.
- Expertise in experiential marketing that converts events into brand equity and growth.
- Builder’s mindset with experience launching initiatives from scratch and decision-making in ambiguity.
- Proficiency in modern marketing tools: brand strategy, performance marketing, content, social, email, CRM, SEO, AI, and analytics.
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, and belief in relationships as a core growth driver.
