The Assistant Manager, Influencer Marketing, leads the implementation and refinement of influencer seeding and organic creator programs to boost brand awareness, interaction, and support on primary social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others. This position supports expanding the creator community via superior operations, aids in strategy formulation through data insights, creator sourcing, and results evaluation, and serves as a vital collaborator to senior marketing staff while managing routine influencer activities and spotting ways to improve program outcomes. Close partnerships occur with marketing, creative, direct-to-consumer, sales, and outside teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle operations for ongoing and product-launch influencer seeding efforts, including PR mailers, to ensure alignment with brand goals and operational efficiency.
- Develop and refine seeding lists by tier (nano, micro, mid-tier, mega), handling outreach, prioritization, and logistics such as product fulfillment and delivery monitoring.
- Direct PR mailers, product distributions, and timely seeding events to achieve top-tier execution and creator involvement.
- Foster and sustain ties with varied creators to position the brand as a preferred collaborator, acting as main liaison for communications and converting interest into ongoing advocacy.
- Spot, assess, and integrate new creators to expand and diversify the influencer roster.
- Monitor seeded content generation, assess quality and results, and highlight standout creators and posts for broader promotion.
- Collaborate with social and paid media teams to integrate top user-generated content into owned and advertising channels, supporting rights acquisition for marketing use.
- Maintain influencer databases, tracking tools, and reports for precision and accessibility; oversee multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
- Work with agencies and vendors for coordinated, accountable delivery and process enhancements.
- Examine seeding outcomes to deliver insights for improvements, detect trends and cultural shifts for strategy input, and suggest creators for advanced paid collaborations.
- Align influencer activities with product releases and marketing plans through cross-team cooperation, including creative, marketing, and sales integration into comprehensive campaigns.
- Aid in paid influencer initiatives by applying organic insights and facilitating transitions for effective creators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years in influencer marketing, PR, social media, or similar areas
- Preference for experience in beauty, fashion, or agencies
- Demonstrated success in scaling influencer seeding and creator management
- Robust project management and multitasking abilities
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical approach to derive strategic advice from data
