Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for converting freemium app users to paid subscribers, including upgrade paths, behavioral triggers, and premium feature presentations
  • Design comprehensive lifecycle marketing programs using in-app messages, push notifications, upgrade prompts, feature campaigns, and email integrations, while partnering with product teams for app implementations
  • Lead experimentation efforts to enhance subscription metrics through paywall tests, free trials, feature positioning, and pricing variations, including A/B testing and result analysis
  • Create initiatives to boost subscriber retention, feature utilization, renewal rates, and overall customer value
  • Track and interpret performance indicators such as subscription rates, trial conversions, churn, ARPU, and LTV to inform growth strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 5 years in growth, lifecycle, or mobile app marketing
  • Hands-on experience with freemium or subscription models
  • Proven track record in user monetization for mobile or digital platforms
  • Familiarity with lifecycle tools like Braze, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase, Iterable, or Customer.io (preferred)
  • Expertise in A/B testing and experimentation programs (preferred)
  • Background in consumer tech, smart home/IoT, mobile apps, SaaS, streaming, or connected devices (ideal)
