The Demand Generation Specialist role at DemandTec involves driving pipeline expansion through the planning, execution, and optimization of B2B marketing campaigns aimed at retail and consumer goods decision-makers, leveraging digital channels and marketing automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and optimize B2B demand generation campaigns targeting retail and CPG decision-makers using channels like Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, email marketing, webinars, and content promotion.
- Build campaign workflows, forms, and landing pages in HubSpot, managing end-to-end setup including segmentation, targeting, messaging, and performance tracking.
- Support promotion of thought leadership content, research reports, webinars, and industry events while ensuring data hygiene.
- Develop understanding of buyer profiles, market segments, and ideal customer profiles to create targeted prospect lists using Apollo and CRM data.
- Research companies and decision-makers in retail and CPG sectors, aligning campaigns to priority industries, account tiers, and personas.
- Refine audience targeting based on engagement and pipeline results.
- Operate within the marketing technology stack, managing HubSpot workflows, Apollo list building, and data flow between systems.
- Handle campaign tagging, attribution, lead management, scoring, and nurture workflows.
- Optimize website and landing pages to improve engagement, lead capture, and conversion paths.
- Track and analyze campaign performance across channels, focusing on engagement, conversions, MQLs, and pipeline impact.
- Conduct A/B tests and experiments to enhance lead quality and efficiency, avoiding vanity metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams on strategy, messaging alignment, lead follow-up, and insight sharing.
- Contribute to building scalable demand generation processes, including workflows, best practices, and infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or digital marketing.
- Hands-on experience executing campaigns with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot.
- Experience using prospecting and enrichment tools such as Apollo.
- Familiarity with campaign channels including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, email marketing, and webinar promotion.
- Experience building and managing targeted prospect lists aligned to ICP and buyer personas.
- Analytical mindset for interpreting campaign data and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working in a lean marketing team within a SaaS company.
