The Expansion Marketing Manager will spearhead growth strategies for Xolo’s entry into Italy and the Netherlands, developing full-funnel initiatives from the ground up in a hands-on, entrepreneurial capacity while collaborating across teams to optimize product adoption and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the expansion growth strategy throughout the customer funnel, including awareness, acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and referral.
  • Detect challenges and potential improvements in various channels and user journeys, such as websites, onboarding, and product interactions.
  • Direct an ongoing experimentation process, from research and hypothesis development to backlog prioritization.
  • Collaborate with product and growth teams to execute tests on messaging, landing pages, and onboarding experiences.
  • Define ideal customer profiles and segmentation, focusing on target audiences, selection drivers, and factors influencing conversion and retention.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Xolo’s go-to-market approach, covering positioning, packaging, launch plans, and adoption tactics.
  • Pursue partnerships and co-marketing initiatives that align with overall growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • At least three years in growth marketing within SaaS, fintech, or comparable product-led sectors.
  • Practical knowledge of the freelance and self-employment landscape, including challenges, user perspectives, and typical hesitations.
  • Familiarity with the Italian and Dutch markets is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in growth methodologies, such as research, hypothesis-based reasoning, prioritization techniques, testing, and iterative learning.
  • Ability to track key performance indicators like conversion rates, activation, customer acquisition cost and payback, retention, and cohort patterns to inform decisions.
  • Track record of working across functions with product, growth, and customer success groups to enhance the entire funnel beyond isolated campaigns.
  • Excellent command of English.
