Hands-on Marketing Lead needed to build and run the marketing function for a growing sustainable energy business. The role covers the full marketing mix with primary focus on driving residential B2C growth while supporting B2B activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a practical marketing plan aligned to brand awareness, lead generation and sales growth
  • Lead integrated B2C and B2B campaigns with emphasis on able-to-pay residential customers interested in heat pumps, solar, batteries and other low-carbon solutions
  • Plan and manage social media activity including content calendars, posting, engagement and reporting
  • Create and deliver email campaigns covering segmentation, copywriting, scheduling, testing and analysis
  • Support CRM activity including customer journeys, lead nurturing and data quality
  • Produce content across web copy, blogs, case studies, emails, social posts and sales collateral
  • Collaborate with sales and operations to translate commercial goals into campaigns
  • Brief and manage external suppliers for PPC, SEO and specialist digital work
  • Coordinate activity across digital, content, website, events and sales enablement
  • Track and report campaign performance to improve effectiveness
  • Establish marketing processes, templates and reporting as the function scales
  • Monitor competitor activity and sector trends in energy and sustainability markets

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a hands-on Marketing Lead, Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive role
  • Experience across both B2C and B2B marketing
  • Strong track record delivering social media, email and multi-channel campaigns
  • Excellent content creation and copywriting skills across email, web, social and sales materials
  • Experience using CRM systems for marketing, lead nurturing and customer communications
  • Solid understanding of campaign performance, lead generation and marketing reporting
  • Ability to work closely with sales teams to convert commercial objectives into marketing activity
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to operate with limited internal resource
  • Willingness to work from the Stonehouse office 2-3 days per week
