Strategic Lead bridging Creative Strategy and Growth Strategy teams within a high-volume performance creative department at a major UK independent Meta agency group, focusing on coaching Senior Creative Strategists, department-wide training in performance and growth topics, macro reporting, and cross-functional system building.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and manage four Senior Creative Strategists on strategic work for key accounts, helping them connect creative outputs to offer, distribution, performance, and commercial outcomes
- Lead training sessions on growth strategy, performance marketing, media buying, offer, distribution, and constraint-based thinking
- Conduct cross-department audits and performance constraint identification on priority accounts, resetting strategy when performance dips
- Produce regular macro creative reports using the £600M+ Meta data warehouse to surface scalable trends and insights
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative Strategy and Growth Strategy leads to design systems and rituals that align the two functions
- Manage risk mitigation, quarterly reviews, KPI accountability, and individual development roadmaps for direct reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic roles across performance creative, growth strategy, media buying, or paid social
- Advanced performance fluency including testing structures, scaling logic, attribution, funnels, and CRO
- Ability to audit a Meta ad account in 30 minutes and identify the primary constraint and fix
- Proven coaching or training experience with strategists or junior team members
- Strong constraint-based and reverse-engineering thinking to trace performance bottlenecks to root causes
- Continuous research mindset with daily market scanning and comfort working extensively with data
- Outcome-focused approach tying every task and framework to measurable results

- AI-literate with experience adopting AI tools in creative and paid-social workflows
