The Growth Copywriter at Sans will create and refine persuasive content for the entire customer experience, spanning initial interactions to ongoing engagement, to support health-focused product launches and drive business results in a dynamic startup setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine email and SMS content for lifecycle stages like onboarding, cart recovery, and revenue-boosting campaigns
- Create A/B testing variants for email elements such as subject lines, calls-to-action, and main content to boost engagement metrics
- Produce effective direct mail materials including inserts and promotions that highlight value and prompt action
- Write engaging copy for website pages and landing pages that match brand style, aid search optimization, and improve conversion rates
- Collaborate with growth and design teams to develop landing page content informed by data, user feedback, and experiments
- Ensure uniform brand voice, positioning, and audience alignment in all written materials
- Use performance analytics and creative feedback to generate fresh copy ideas that shape overall growth initiatives
- Manage copy production processes in project tools for efficient delivery and iterative improvements
- Evaluate and advise on team copy to maintain high standards of messaging and consistency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in copywriting, marketing, or communications
- 1-3+ years in copywriting across channels like email/SMS, web, and extended content formats
- Proven track record with lifecycle messaging including onboarding series, promotions, re-engagement, and transactions
- Knowledge of SEO principles and how copy enhances search visibility
- Familiarity with email tools like Klaviyo and key performance indicators
