Lead the transformation of Actionstep’s partner marketing channel into a scalable revenue driver by developing co-marketing systems, enablement programs, and attribution models to expand partnerships across North America, the UK, and Australia/New Zealand, collaborating closely with the Chief Alliances Officer to generate mid-market pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Ecosystem Architecture: Collaborate with the CAO and Alliances team to establish and manage a tiered partner model focusing on high-impact relationships with mid-market consultants, implementation partners, technology integrators, and professional associations like ALA, ILTA, and ABA; define activity levels and criteria for tier progression.
- Co-Marketing Infrastructure: Create standardized co-marketing frameworks, campaign toolkits, and ready-to-use campaigns to enable partners to drive demand effortlessly with aligned messaging; develop a comprehensive MDF program including eligibility, funding allocation, co-investment rules, and opportunity-level ROI measurement.
- Internal Partner Manager Enablement: Provide training and resources for the CAO’s partner managers to conduct effective marketing discussions; produce internal playbooks, messaging guides, and tools for objection handling, opportunity positioning, expectation setting, and partner accountability.
- Partner-Facing Enablement: Design and manage a program to equip implementation consultants and association influencers with the Actionstep mid-market story for independent advocacy, bridging credibility in partner-led conversations.
- Pipeline Attribution and Reporting: Partner with Marketing Operations and the CRO’s team to implement accurate attribution for partner-sourced and influenced opportunities; establish definitions, reporting rhythms for CMO and CAO, and metrics for quarterly and board reviews.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in B2B channel or partner marketing in SaaS, with experience building programs from early or unstructured stages.
- Proven track record in designing and managing co-marketing initiatives, MDF programs, and partner portals, with direct responsibility for pipeline results.
- Ability to thrive in PE-backed, high-growth settings with limited resources, strict prioritization, and revenue-focused reporting to executives.
- Desirable: Experience in legal tech, professional services associations (ALA, ILTA, ABA, state bars), or regulated industries emphasizing trust and referrals.
- Desirable: Operations across North America, APAC, or EMEA regions.
