Lead the marketing function at BusRight, a innovative school transportation platform, by crafting and implementing demand generation strategies to fuel revenue growth through targeted campaigns, events, and audience engagement in the K-12 education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a scalable marketing strategy focused on generating demand, enhancing conversion rates, and advancing prospects through the sales funnel using tactics like in-person events, webinars, and email campaigns
  • Determine optimal mix of demand generation channels and tactics including webinars, website, PR, print, digital, and innovative approaches for efficient lead creation
  • Design, execute, and measure a scalable in-person events strategy across large territories
  • Create content, social proof, and referral incentives to produce more marketing qualified opportunities and speed up sales cycles
  • Extract actionable insights from outreach and CRM data to strengthen marketing-sales alignment in a hub-and-spoke go-to-market model
  • Identify priority audiences, segment them, and develop persona-driven messaging strategies for effective communication

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years in progressive marketing roles at high-growth, venture-backed organizations (Series A-C preferred)
  • Experience selling into defined markets like K-12 education where word-of-mouth and social proof are key
  • Proven ability to market innovative solutions to audiences with varying tech proficiency
  • Expertise in scaling in-person event strategies into revenue-generating operations
  • Strong demand generation focus with interest in brand building, GEO/SEO, opportunity management, and tool development
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with ability to drive outcomes through direct reports and cross-functional teams
  • Based in New York or Boston, willing to work in-office 1-2 days per week
