Castify seeks an experienced Director of Growth and Demand Generation to spearhead marketing efforts in the edtech space, focusing on revenue expansion, customer engagement, and market penetration. Reporting to the President of Go-to-Market, the role entails leading strategic initiatives, fostering team development, and integrating marketing with sales and product functions to support company objectives in K-12 and emerging sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete go-to-market process, including strategy development and execution to boost revenue, in partnership with sales, aligning efforts to revenue outcomes, utilizing B2C demand for B2B growth, and establishing consistent outbound sales and marketing activities
- Establish and manage a full-spectrum customer communication strategy across the product journey, employing email, notifications, in-app messages, and additional channels to enhance engagement and retention
- Act as primary product authority, developing sales enablement resources, customer content, and internal training to aid sales and customer success teams
- Perform user interviews, customer need analysis, and market research to shape messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans
- Serve as brand representative at conferences, events, and client interactions, promoting the company and collecting insights for improved positioning
- Direct and motivate a compact marketing team through strategy, mentorship, feedback, and coaching to cultivate a high-performing, collaborative environment that increases sales, traffic, and conversions
- Collaborate with executives on strategic marketing planning to align with business goals, pursuing new accounts, expanding K-12 share, and initiating campaigns for post-secondary and corporate markets while refining messaging and value propositions
- Define and track KPIs, delivering detailed performance reports for individuals and the team, highlighting improvements and achievements
- Partner with product, sales, and customer success groups to synchronize on company initiatives, bridging marketing with other departments for a unified workplace
