Proactive maternity-cover role managing end-to-end planning and delivery of in-person and virtual events while supporting broader marketing and communications campaigns to raise the profile of an award-winning digital-transformation consultancy across the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and delivery of the company’s full programme of in-person and virtual events, including venue sourcing, supplier management and coordination of photographers, videographers and AV providers.
- Horizon-scan for external conferences and speaking opportunities, providing recommendations on attendance, participation and sponsorship.
- Maximise impact and ROI of events through targeted promotion, partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital channels, utilising audience targeting and performance measurement to promote events, thought leadership and services.
- Coordinate logistics, communications and follow-up for PD’s presence at external events to deliver strong business outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to advise on the most effective channels and events to support business objectives.
- Manage the digital asset library and commission photography, videography and creative content as required.
- Oversee production, management and replenishment of marketing collateral, banners, publications and merchandise.
- Measure and report on event and marketing KPIs including attendance, engagement, lead generation and brand visibility.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on maximising networking and business-development opportunities from events.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date event information on the website, LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Prepare briefing materials for speakers, attendees and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience planning and delivering successful in-person and/or virtual events.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- Experience using email, social media, websites and CRM platforms to promote events or campaigns.
- Experience working with external suppliers, agencies or event partners.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to use data and insights to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
- Desirable: familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms; experience with webinar and virtual-event platforms; experience managing creative assets, photography, video or design projects.
Benefits And Growth
- Salary £60,000 – £65,000 FTE pro-rated (depending on experience).
- Fixed-term, part-time contract: 3.5 days per week (26.25 hours) for 13 months.
