The Marketing Events Specialist supports the Demand Generation Team by delivering tactical and strategic assistance for direct events, including tradeshows and conferences, while managing planning, execution, and ROI analysis in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement event marketing strategies that align with business objectives and campaign priorities.
  • Maintain an annual schedule of tradeshows and conferences.
  • Oversee planning, logistics, vendor management, and on-site operations for assigned events following established processes.
  • Act as the main liaison for internal teams and external vendors during events.
  • Deliver regular updates, timelines, and post-event reports.
  • Gather quarterly pipeline data to aid senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to create branded event materials.
  • Handle relationships with display and premium vendors, including invoice reconciliation and inventory management.
  • Manage event budgets efficiently, adhering to procurement and financial guidelines.
  • Identify cost-saving measures and process enhancements.
  • Support projects for the Americas Sales Kickoff under senior direction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least three years in marketing, event planning, or tradeshow logistics, including vendor contracts and speaker scheduling.
  • Proficiency in managing complex events with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills with external vendors.
  • Adaptability in shifting between planning and execution tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and social media abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for events.
  • Robust collaboration skills for independent and team-based work.
  • Detail-oriented project management to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Successful background screening completion.
  • Preferred: Experience with CVENT, Salesforce, and Wrike.
