Event Marketing Manager position at M&I, a leader in global MICE events, involving the creation and execution of integrated campaigns to boost attendance, engagement, and brand presence across international events in partnership with the Head of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative marketing campaigns to promote and expand M&I events.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to establish campaign goals, messaging, and KPIs.
  • Support commercial objectives and targets for future solutions, sales, and buyer teams.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance data to derive insights and refine strategies.
  • Manage and update event and brand websites, ensuring content accuracy, engagement, and SEO optimization.
  • Oversee email marketing campaigns using CRM and automation tools, including calendar management and audience segmentation.
  • Develop compelling content for digital channels like email, social media, and event promotions, maintaining brand consistency.
  • Execute social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and community engagement.
  • Lead marketing activities at events, coordinating content capture and creative plans.
  • Nurture partner relationships, lead event niches, and build external alliances.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to boost brand visibility through marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Significant marketing experience, preferably in events, hospitality, or travel.
  • Expertise in managing integrated campaigns across digital channels including email, social media, and web.
  • Strong creative abilities in brand building, storytelling, and content development.
  • Analytical proficiency to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
  • Knowledge of AI tools and enthusiasm for AI-driven approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for creating engaging content.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative, relationship-building mindset with confidence in cross-departmental and external interactions.
  • Proactive attitude with ownership from concept to execution.
  • Desirable: Hospitality, travel, or events industry experience; CIM qualification; Event marketing management; Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Pardot, Figma, Adobe; Proficiency in LLMs and AI agentic marketing.
