Founding Marketer role at Mission Inbox, a B2B email infrastructure provider, involves building the entire marketing function from the ground up for a growing SaaS company, driving demand generation, content creation, and pipeline growth without initial team support.
Key Responsibilities
- Own demand generation and paid media across LinkedIn, Google, and niche channels, including audience targeting, creative development, bidding strategies, and budget management based on CAC and payback data.
- Establish an organic content engine through blog, LinkedIn, newsletter, and thought leadership, with an SEO focus on deliverability, cold email, and outbound infrastructure keywords, producing or managing most content in the first year.
- Manage website end-to-end, including messaging, structure, and CRO experiments on landing pages, CTAs, pricing, and sign-up flows, while setting up tracking, attribution, and analytics.
- Design product-led growth initiatives, including in-product marketing, activation flows, onboarding email sequences, PQL criteria, and sales handoffs for self-serve users.
- Launch recurring webinars for B2B sales leaders, RevOps, and agencies, manage industry event participation, and create follow-up nurture workflows to convert leads to pipeline.
- Develop multi-touch nurture and lifecycle campaigns for MQLs, trial users, and churned accounts, using behavioral email workflows and owning HubSpot setup, segmentation, automation, and reporting.
- In the first 60 days, conduct product and customer deep-dive, audit existing assets, deliver a marketing assessment and plan, launch core infrastructure like Attio and attribution tracking, ship initial content and ads, and present first pipeline report.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 2 years as an individual contributor or small-team lead.
- Proven experience building pipeline from scratch, with direct ownership of pipeline or revenue targets beyond just MQLs.
- Proficiency in marketing tools including Attio/HubSpot, Google/LinkedIn Ads, SEO platforms like Ahrefs/Semrush, and analytics such as GA4 or Mixpanel.
- Strong copywriting skills, as content production is hands-on and not outsourced.
- Familiarity with technical aspects like DNS records, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and email deliverability importance for sales teams.
- Experience with product-led growth, including onboarding and activation flows.
- Native or near-native English proficiency for written communication.
- Focus on metrics like CAC, payback period, and pipeline velocity rather than impressions or followers.

- Equity options discussed according to background and results.
- Yearly performance bonus linked to pipeline and MRR targets.
