Freelance Email Copywriter and Creative Designer for DTC brands at a retention-focused agency. Handle end-to-end email creation from strategist briefs, including ideation, structure, and copywriting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret strategic briefs from agency strategists
- Source email modules from the internal DTC media library to match campaign angle and audience segment
- Design email architecture including module sequence and narrative flow
- Write complete copy—headlines, sub-heads, and CTAs—while matching each brand voice
- Prepare designer briefs with selected modules and associated copy notes
- Iterate swiftly on strategist and client feedback
- Attend regular creative syncs with strategists
Qualifications
- 1–3 years DTC copywriting experience across email, landing pages or social ads
- Ability to adapt tone across diverse premium DTC verticals
- Strong structural and visual sense for email layout and storytelling
- Interest in DTC retention marketing and a habit of analyzing received emails
- Native-level French required; FR/EN bilingual preferred
- Agency or multi-brand experience appreciated
- Basic visual sensitivity and clean screenshot/Figma skills
- Prior hands-on email experience (at least six months) mandatory; pure-copy mindset not suitable
