The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will lead and refine the organization’s email marketing approach across the entire customer journey, crafting and implementing effective campaigns and nurturing sequences that deliver targeted communications based on user stage, profile, and behavior to re-engage prospects, speed up sales pipelines, promote customer growth and loyalty, and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Growth and Product Marketing teams to craft email campaign strategies supporting acquisition and expansion objectives
  • Design and refine nurturing programs customized to user journey phases, profiles, and behavioral indicators to advance prospects through the funnel
  • Construct, review, and launch emails using HubSpot or comparable marketing automation tools
  • Schedule and perform experiments on elements like subject lines, content, calls-to-action, and timing to enhance results
  • Guarantee adherence to email regulations and standards such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR
  • Work with design and marketing colleagues to develop and update brand-consistent, user-centric email templates
  • Team up with Marketing Operations to configure and manage automation workflows, personalization features, and behavior-triggered emails
  • Handle webinar operations including platform setup, registration, interactive elements, moderation, and issue resolution
  • Oversee post-webinar activities such as follow-up campaigns, lead transfers, and strategies for repurposing content to extend value
  • Experiment with webinar structures, features, and content to increase participation and interaction
  • Cooperate with Sales Development Representatives to build and improve outbound sequences, aligning messages for better engagement
  • Create and enhance follow-up processes for events and incoming leads, including list segmentation and handoff improvements
  • Monitor and report on metrics like open rates, clicks, conversions, attendance, pipeline contributions, and delivery success
  • Evaluate campaign outcomes and provide practical recommendations to marketing and sales teams
  • Document procedures and best practices while keeping abreast of trends in email marketing, webinars, and delivery techniques

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in B2B email or lifecycle marketing, ideally in SaaS or edtech
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and enhancing nurture programs that boost engagement and sales pipelines
  • Robust analytical abilities for reviewing data and informing improvements
  • Superior writing, editing, and communication proficiencies, adaptable to various audiences and journey stages
  • Deep knowledge of email delivery, compliance, and sector standards
  • Outstanding organization and project management to juggle multiple initiatives
  • Team-oriented, initiative-driven approach with strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Iterative mindset focused on testing, detail, and ongoing enhancement
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools like HubSpot or Marketo, and sales platforms such as Gong Engage or Outreach
  • Solid project management with meticulous attention to detail and multitasking capability
  • Knowledge of webinar tools including Bizzabo, Zoom, Hopin, or ON24
