Drive customer-led demand generation to support upsell, cross-sell and renewal targets within the education SaaS sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer marketing strategies aimed at generating upsell and cross-sell opportunities from existing school customers.
  • Design and deliver a dedicated renewals marketing programme in partnership with the Renewals team.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to uncover customer needs and translate them into targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Create and manage email programmes, webinars, user groups and other engagement activities for school customers.
  • Analyse campaign performance and customer data to refine marketing activities and improve customer experience.
  • Produce customer success stories and case studies that highlight product value for schools.
  • Administer Hubspot and Gainsight for segmentation, automation and customer journey mapping.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across customer-facing touchpoints in coordination with the wider marketing team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer marketing, ideally in education or SaaS.
  • Strong grasp of B2B marketing principles with proven ability to drive retention and adoption.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling customer narratives.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools and CRMs including Hubspot, Salesforce and Gainsight.
  • Data-driven approach with ability to interpret campaign metrics and optimise performance.
  • Collaborative team player capable of managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Passion for education and understanding of school challenges (desirable).
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and proactive attitude.
