Lead email and owned-channel marketing programs that build retention, loyalty, and lifetime value through personalized journeys and automated campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage lifecycle automations and campaigns focused on retention, loyalty, reorder rate, and customer lifetime value.
- Improve personalization across email, SMS, push, and other owned channels to deliver relevant, well-timed messages.
- Use data and customer insights to develop segmentation strategies that reach the right audiences at the right time.
- Build, optimize, and scale customer journeys in platforms such as Braze, Klaviyo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, improving performance through testing and iteration.
- Oversee marketing automation performance and expand additional owned channels including SMS and push notifications.
- Maintain email design and messaging best practices.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small cross-functional team while setting high quality standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in email and database marketing or a related function.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and analyze automated customer journeys across multiple touchpoints.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Klaviyo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud; Braze certifications strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRMs such as Salesforce.
- Direct response marketing experience and familiarity with reward, subscription, and loyalty programs.
- Strong data-driven mindset with analytical skills to measure program effectiveness and present actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of consumer marketing principles, customer segmentation, and multi-channel marketing.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, presentation skills, business acumen, problem-solving, and project-management abilities.
- Experience managing a small cross-functional team.
