The Retail Digital Marketing Manager will manage Skylight’s online visibility and performance on major retail sites like Walmart, Target, and Costco, driving conversions and growth through strategic digital merchandising, media campaigns, and cross-team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Skylight’s online footprint on retailer sites such as Walmart, Target, and Costco, optimizing product pages, brand stores, and content for superior performance.
- Direct platform-specific merchandising efforts, encompassing SEO enhancements, keyword planning, content experiments, and conversion improvements.
- Oversee and refine retail media spending on networks like Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, and Best Buy Ads to boost traffic and revenue.
- Coordinate with Sales on business goals, promotion schedules, and launches to create effective digital initiatives.
- Design and implement tailored activation strategies for retailers, covering seasonal promotions, new product introductions, and special events.
- Work with Creative teams to produce and customize digital materials suited to each retailer’s guidelines and users, incorporating top-performing content and insights.
- Track metrics like traffic, conversions, search share, and content impact across platforms, applying data to drive improvements.
- Establish a comprehensive testing framework for product pages, enhanced content, media approaches, and promotions to enhance outcomes.
- Collaborate with Analytics and Finance to evaluate ROI, assess additional value, and guide investment strategies.
- Foster ties with retail media and merchandising contacts to expand visibility and opportunities.
- Handle retailer media budgets per channel, incorporating Sales revenue forecasts and Finance cost-per-acquisition goals.
- Define performance indicators and tools to assess marketing efforts in driving sales, brand recognition, and competitive advantage.
- Launch and oversee influencer and affiliate initiatives for Walmart, Target, Costco, and Best Buy.
Qualifications
- 4–6+ years in eCommerce, digital marketing, retail media, or shopper marketing, with direct involvement in retailer online channels.
- Advanced knowledge of retail media networks including Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, and Best Buy Ads.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in metrics such as conversion rates, return on ad spend, search share, and digital shelf metrics.
- Solid grasp of digital merchandising principles like product page enhancements, content planning, reviews management, and search factors.
- Proven track record in leading projects across Sales, Creative, and Analytics functions.
- Experience in budget management and spend optimization aligned with performance and objectives.
- Capacity to excel in dynamic settings, combining high-level strategy with practical implementation.
- Strong communication abilities to convert data into persuasive narratives and advice.
- Willingness to travel for retailer discussions and internal gatherings.
